CAN NAVATA – Country house in the Alt Empordà

The house is accessed along a very quiet road with very little traffic. There is a small covered porch with a bench, table and chairs, where you can relax and enjoy the good weather. From here you can go into the house, both ground floor and first floor, where the rooms are.

GROUND FLOOR
Just next to the porch is a bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Accessible to wheelchair users.

Going into the house, there is a large dining room, with a long wooden table, benches and fireplace. This leads to a hall which connects with other spaces, where there is a guest bathroom with toilet and sink. Two more rooms lead off from here: a lounge with fireplace, sofas and armchairs and a library full of books and a billiards table.

The dining room leads to the kitchen, an outdoor patio and another bedroom. The bedroom is for four, with a double bed and two single beds. It has a private bathroom, adapted for wheelchair users, both the shower and the toilet. The outdoor patio has a barbecue area and eating area, with a wooden table and benches. Night lights make this a lovely inviting place to relax. There is a bright, spacious kitchen, with wooden table and chairs, fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances where guests can enjoy cooking. From the kitchen, you have access to the second part of the house with a space where there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes horse as well as a ping-pong table and storage for firewood and spare gas bottles.

In this part of the house there is a shared bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. A bedroom which sleeps four with two separate areas: one with a double bed plus a single bed, and the other with a single bed. There is a second bedroom for three people with a single bed and a double bed with a private bathroom with shower. The third bedroom has two single beds. Wide open-plan lounge with large windows which makes it nice and bright, with a dining table and lounge area with sofa, armchairs and TV. This leads directly to a kitchen with access to the garden outside.

SECOND FLOOR
Going up the stairs from the porch, you come to the second floor. This upper area is only a sleeping area and has four bedrooms:

Two double bedrooms each with a double bed and direct access to the communal terrace. One double bedroom with a double bed and views out of the window to the inner patio. One double bedroom with two single beds and views over the garden. All the rooms have a private bathroom with shower.

OUTSIDE
Garden, more than 1,000 m2, with a picnic area in the shade of 100-yr-old trees, a fenced area with a salt water pool with sun loungers and shower, children’s playground, barbecue area with outdoor table and benches, and free parking in the grounds.

Siurana d’Empordà is a village and municipal district in the Alt Empordà region. It is located close to Figueres and to the beautiful beaches and coves of the Costa Brava. The surrounding area is beautiful, and one of its main attractions is its situation: nestling between two rivers and surrounded by woods, visitors are surprised at the beauty of the nature surrounding it.

The land is flat which makes it an ideal place to go cycling, horse riding and hiking and other activities which can be enjoyed on the coast are windsurfing and diving. There are also towns nearby with lots of history and great gastronomy. Ideal for groups who want to enjoy a quiet natural place near the Costa Brava.
