Can Mas – Space, authenticity and nature close to Lake Banyoles

Can Mas is easily accessible via a paved road leading directly to the property, which is situated in a secluded rural setting that guarantees privacy and tranquility. Upon arrival, there is ample parking in the outdoor area next to the house.

The House

Can Mas is spread over two floors and combines different types of rooms, offering flexibility for large groups.

The house has 6 main bedrooms and 3 additional rooms, arranged as follows:

• Bedroom 1: double bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Dressing room and built-in wardrobe.
• Bedroom 2: double bed (can be separated), 2 single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower. Dressing room and built-in wardrobe. Access to a terrace with drying area (shared with bedrooms 3 and 4). 
• Bedroom 3: double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Access to a terrace with drying area (shared with bedrooms 2 and 4).
• Bedroom 4: double bed (can be separated) and en-suite bathroom with bath. Access to a terrace with drying area (shared with bedrooms 2 and 3).
• Bedroom 5: family room divided into two bedrooms. Double bed (can be separated) adjacent to Bedroom 6: 3 single beds. Shared en-suite bathroom with shower.

Loft: an upper floor with three additional bedrooms sharing a bathroom with a large shower, ideal for children or groups.

• Bedroom 7: 2 single beds.
• Bedroom 8: 2 single beds.
• Bedroom 9: 2 single beds. 

The common areas are arranged around the large main room, which connects to all the rooms. The house also features a loft with a living area, three sofas, a television, and a fireplace, providing an additional, more intimate and cozy space.

The kitchen, approximately 27 m², is fully equipped and has a table for 10 people. It includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee makers, kettle, first-aid kit, television, kettle, water dispenser, and all the necessary utensils for large groups. 

The house has heating, television, washing machine, iron, and Wi-Fi, ensuring comfort throughout your stay. A travel cot and a highchair are also provided, making family stays easier.

Outside

The exterior area of Can Mas  is one of its greatest attractions, with large grounds surrounded by nature.

• A 10 x 4 m² swimming pool with a sunbathing area, 9 sun loungers, 4 parasols, and a lawn area.

• Pets are not allowed
• Smoking is only permitted outdoors.

Kitchen equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee makers, kettle, first aid kit, TV, fireplaces, water dispenser, kitchen utensils and crockery. Table and 10 chairs.

Dining room (in the main living room): Long wooden table and chairs. A high chair is available.

2 Living rooms: one downstairs, and one in the loft. Sofas and armchairs, coffee table, TV, fireplace.

9 Bedrooms (6 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor) – with wardrobes, bedside tables, reading lamps, furniture, and linens. A portable cot is available.

7 full bathrooms (6 with showers and 1 with a bath) – towels provided.

Can Mas is located in Fontcoberta, in the Pla de l’Estany region, an area characterized by its natural landscape and tranquility, ideal for disconnecting without sacrificing the proximity of amenities.

Just a few minutes away is Banyoles, with its iconic lake, the largest in Catalonia, where you can enjoy activities such as walking, cycling, rowing, or running. 

The surrounding area offers numerous leisure and cultural options: hiking and mountain biking trails, visits to the prehistoric caves of Serinyà, the medieval town of Besalú, or excursions to the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees, all less than 40 minutes away.
