CAL SICULL– Country house with pool and large outdoor space

You get to the house along a quiet road with a final 1.5 km unpaved section that leads directly to the house. 

The farmhouse has 2 floors and areas for different uses, central heating, air conditioning, and TVs in all rooms, as well as free wifi.

GROUND FLOOR

Going in through the front door, you find the stairs to the first floor with a child safety gate, and 1 bedroom with a double bed and access to a full bathroom with a shower adapted for people with reduced mobility. There is also a small utility room with a washing machine. The living room features sofas, a fireplace, and a large TV. Sharing this space is the dining area and a kitchen equipped with 2 fridge-freezers, dishwasher, oven,microwave,toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and condiments. 

A travel cot and a highchair are available for families. 

FIRST FLOOR

Going up to the first floor, you come to the sleeping area, where you find the other 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers. All the bedrooms have wardrobes, bedside tables, lamps, air conditioning, and TVs.

5 Bedrooms (one on the ground floor and the rest on the first floor)). 

• Bedroom 1: 1 double bed
• Bedroom 2: 2 sets of bunkbeds (4 people)
• Bedroom 3: 2 single beds. 
• Bedroom 4: 1 double bed, 1 single bed. 
• Bedroom 5: 2 single beds. 

Chill-out area and games room  – Very close to the house is an indoor area with sofa and tables and a ping-pong table. 

Comfort: The whole house has heating, air conditioning in the bedrooms, and free wifi. Washing machine.

OUTSIDE

The house is surrounded by a spacious outdoor area with grass and trees.

• porch with barbecue with a long table and benches  
• basketball hoop, football goalposts 
• children’s play area with trampoline, sandpit and games 

Pets are welcome.

Kitchen equipped with 2 large-capacity fridge-freezers, oven, stovetop, microwave, one Nespresso capsule coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, kitchen utensils, and crockery. 

Dining room: long table, chairs and benches for 15 people and other furniture. 

1 Living room: sofas, armchairs, TV, coffee table and other furniture, fireplace.  

5 Bedrooms: with wardrobes, bedside tables and reading lamps, bed linen, air conditioning. Extra beds can be added to some of the bedrooms. 1 cot is available.

3 Bathrooms: towels are provided.

Comfort: heating, air conditioning in the bedrooms, and free wifi. Washing machine.

Games rooms with ping-pong.

Cal Sicull, which belongs to the village of Santa Maria de Merlès, is a 30-minute drive from Berga, the capital of the Berguedà region, and 20 minutes from Vic, two towns with a rich cultural, historic and gastronomic offer as well as all the necessary services.

The house is situated in the Berguedà region, an area full of forests, mountains, rivers, and small villages, offering a wide range of activities such as hiking, climbing, canyoning, cycling, fishing, and canoeing. It’s easy to reach the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park and the iconic Pedraforca mountain, and you can go on hikes or bike rides, cool off in the rivers in summer, or forage for mushrooms in autumn. It’s a place with many hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
