CA LA IAIA – House with pool and garden near Girona

You go into the property through an automatic metal gate to a large garden of some 2500 m2 with grass and trees, totally fenced in and safe. There is plenty of space to park cars.

The house has two floors – the bedrooms and living quarters are upstairs and the whole of the downstairs is a large games room. It is ideal for children with small children as it has safety gates, and the pool and garden are fenced in. There are also highchairs, cots, pushchairs and children’s car seats available.

DOWNSTAIRS

The entire ground floor has been made into a large games room with table tennis, billiards, table football, a sofa, a fridge-freezer and a toilet.There is also equipment for storing, cleaning and maintaining bicycles.

UPSTAIRS

Going upstairs, you come to the sleeping and living spaces: a dining room with a long table and 9 chairs, and a lounge with sofas, coffee table, TV, fireplace and bookshelves with books and board games. These rooms have a lot of natural light as they have big windows and doors leading to the terrace-balcony which goes round the house on three sides, with outdoor furniture – table and chairs – and from where you have lovely views.

The kitchen is very well equipped with all the household appliances and utensils you need: a large fridge, oven, stove and vitroceramic hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a table and chairs and direct access to a small terrace with stairs to go down to the garden.

The house has 4 comfortable bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other three with two single beds. In one of the bedrooms, you can put an extra bed. All the rooms have wardrobes, bedside tables, reading lamps and views outside. There are 2 bathrooms on this floor, one with a shower and the other one with a bath.

There is wifi throughout the house, heating, air conditioning and wonderful views of the garden and countryside.

OUTSIDE

The house has a fantastic garden of more than 2500 m2 completely fenced in, with several areas for different activities. A covered salt-water pool (9m x 5m, large deck area with sun loungers and sunshades and a shady porch. Barbecue area with table and chairs, brick barbecue and shade. Garden with grass and trees. Higher up there is a field with a volleyball net, basketball hoop, trampoline and swings, as well as a picnic table with shade, ideal for families and groups of friends.

Ca La Iaia is a large house in an ideal location to relax and do all kinds of activities with the family and friends, in a quiet setting. It is 1 km from the centre of Quart, and 5 kms from Girona City (10 minutes by car).

It is situated at the foot of the Gavarres mountains and has a connection to the Via Verde (a cycle path) which goes from Girona to Sant Feliu de Guíxols on the Costa Brava, ideal for going on cycling or walking excursions. The Costa Brava beaches and coves are 20 minutes’ drive away and you can also do many other interesting activities such as visiting the historic old town of Girona, medieval villages, museums and markets, as well as enjoying the delicious local gastronomy.
