Mas Toralles – Authenticity, calm and nature in the Vall d’en Bas

Access to Mas Toralles is via a wide, well-maintained unpaved track, surrounded by nature and stone walls that hint at the farmhouse’s authentic character. The main entrance, featuring a stone gateway with an exposed wooden beam, preserves the building’s rural essence and leads directly to the private parking area.

The route is easy and convenient, with direct access to the parking area located right in front of the house. From there, guests can reach the main entrance of the farmhouse in just a few steps.

The House

To go into the house, you have to go up some stairs to reach the first floor where there is an automatic door that leads directly to the main living room. The house is all on one level but is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, as there is a flight of stairs at the entrance. 

Mas Toralles has 4 en-suite bedrooms, all with walk-in showers and separable double beds. It also offers the option of combining these with a versatile mezzanine space that can accommodate additional guests.

4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms:

• Bedroom 1: double bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Access to a small balcony.
• Bedroom 2: double bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Access to a small balcony. No wardrobe but it does have shelves. 
• Bedroom 3: double bed and private bathroom with walk-in shower. Access to a balcony. No wardrobe but it does have shelves.
• Bedroom 4: double bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Access to a balcony. Open wardrobe. 1 extra bed can be put in this bedroom. 
• Mezzanine space –  2 extra beds can be put here. 
• Multi-purpose meeting room –  2 extra beds can be put here. 
• 1 cot and 1 travel cot, for family stays. 

The house has 3 living rooms. As you enter the house, you’ll find a large living-dining room with a fireplace, sofa, armchairs, TV, and several tables and chairs. In the central part in the bedroom area there is another cosy sitting room with a sofa, fireplace, and TV, ideal as a reading nook or a more private relaxation space. There are also sofas and a table and chairs upstairs in the multipurpose mezzanine space. 

The kitchen can be used privately by the group or individually, depending on the needs of the stay. It is fully equipped with induction and gas hobs, an oven, a microwave, a coffee grinder and Nespresso coffee machine, a dishwasher, an additional separate freezer, wine coolers, and most of the utensils you might need. 

A corridor leads to the bedroom area, as well as a multipurpose meeting room with tables, chairs, a TV, and a whiteboard, and a full bathroom with a shower. 

The entire house has wifii access and air conditioning (hot/cold). A washing machine and iron and ironing board are located on the ground floor.

Outside

Outside the house, there is a large terrace with a porch, tables and chairs and a private garden, as well as a barbecue area and outdoor parking for up to 8 vehicles. Pets are welcome.

• Dining room: several wooden tables and chairs.
• 3 Living rooms: sofas, armchairs, TV and fireplace.
• 4 double en-suite bedrooms with bed linen and towels. Extra beds can be added in one of the rooms, in the mezzanine space and in the multipurpose meeting room.
• 5 full bathrooms: 4 private bathrooms with shower in the bedrooms, 1 shared bathroom with shower.
• Comfort: Wifi, air conditioning (hot/cold), washing machine, iron and ironing board, travel cot.
• Outside: shady porch with outdoor furniture, garden with grass and trees, BBQ and parking area.
• Pets are welcome.

Mas Toralles also allows for events with a capacity of 50 to 60 people, making it a perfect natural setting for celebrations or corporate meetings.

Mas Toralles is located in the Vall d’en Bas, a 15-minute drive from Olot, a city with all necessary services and a rich cultural and gastronomic scene. Explore the volcanic landscape of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, which offers breathtaking views and unique geological formations. You can hike or cycle along the park’s trails to discover dormant volcanoes, lush vegetation, and picturesque villages.
