CASTELL DE FALGONS. Authentic 8th century castle with unique spaces and guesthouse.

The property is reached via a very quiet paved road that leads to a metal gate that provides access to the estate. 

CASTLE 

GROUND FLOOR 

Going through the main door, we find an interior courtyard with the following rooms around it: The “FALGONS” room with 2 sofa-beds and armchairs along with decorative elements. 1 full bathroom with shower. A vaulted meeting room with table, armchairs and large TV screen. 2 en-suite bedrooms with double beds and showers. The “CAPILLA” meeting room with sofas and armchairs. 

FIRST FLOOR 

Going up a flight of stairs, we reach a terrace area with a crenellated wall, outdoor furniture, jacuzzi and spectacular views. 

From here we can go into the interior of the first floor where we find the magnificent GREAT HALL, the heart of life in the castle in medieval times, featuring a large central table, a large fireplace, a TV area with a sofa and medieval decorative elements: suits of armor, candelabras, ceramic pieces, etc.  This space has a total of 3 large TV screens. 

In one corner of the hall is the entrance to the kitchen, a space with some historical elements and equipped with everything you need for modern living: vitroceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, double-door refrigerator with freezer, and a central table with 10 chairs. 

From the kitchen, you can access the following rooms: a bathroom with a sink and toilet and a room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and shelving units. 

From here, you come to the master bedroom, a very spacious room with a round double bed, fireplace, large TV, coffee table with comfortable chairs, and direct access to the terrace with a jacuzzi. There is also a private bathroom with a large shower and a unique bathtub, as well as a separate toilet.

GUEST HOUSE 

A few meters from the Castle, we find the guest house, accessed via a short flight of stairs to the first floor. A small entrance hall leads to the kitchen, which has a fireplace and is fully equipped with everything you need: stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and refrigerator with freezer. There is also a dining area and a full bathroom with a shower. 

The sleeping area comprises 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed, wardrobes, and bedside tables. 

A large living room features sofas, a large TV, and a picture window with spectacular views. 

EXTERIOR 

The garden area offers ample open space, ideal for events. There is also outdoor parking for cars. 

The Castle is surrounded by its own vineyards (2 hectares), from which the wine bottled under the Castell de Falgons brand is produced each year.

• 4 Full Bathrooms (three with shower, one with bathtub and shower) and 1 guest toilet.

Castell de Falgons is situated in a very peaceful area, surrounded by fields and mountains. Banyoles is a 20-minute drive away, offering all necessary amenities such as supermarkets and restaurants, as well as hiking and cycling routes suitable for the whole family around the lake. 

The city of Girona, with its old town, shops, restaurants, and museums, is a 40-minute drive away, the main beaches of the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees are 60 minutes away, and Barcelona is 90 minutes away.
