MAS DEL GALL – Large country house in the Montnegre natural park

Access to the property is through a metal gate, which opens automatically with a remote control, and you then go up a paved road to reach the patio/porch area right in front of the house. Along the way is a first covered parking area and later on a second car parking area where cars can be left.

Outside, in front of the house, is a large paved area with an iron-structure porch covering about 70 m2. Here there is a long table, with spectacular views of the countryside, with seating for the maximum number of guests. From this area you can go to the rest of the outdoor places: pool, barbecues, sports facilities and children’s playground.

The house has an outdoor surveillance system with 4 cameras near the entrance of the house and parking area.

The person in charge of looking after the property lives 5 minutes away and every morning he does some work in the grounds: removing leaves from the pool, setting up the outdoor furniture and feeding the animals.

INSIDE
The rooms in the house are arranged over three floors.

GROUND FLOOR
As you enter the house, there is a reception hall/lounge with a long wooden rustic-style table and chairs, which leads to the other rooms.

Bright spacious kitchen with a large kitchen island in the centre. Ideal place for guests who like cooking, as it has all the equipment and utensils needed. Direct access to the patio outside and a serving hatch between the kitchen and main dining room. Spacious lounge-dining room, 120 m, with large windows and different areas: small tables, bookcases, central vintage dining table and chairs, fireplace, two TVs, sofas, ping-pong table. This room also leads out to the patio in front of the house and porch area. There is a guest bathroom and a utility room with cleaning equipment. Heating with radiators for the winter and two air-conditioning units in the lounge-dining room for the summer months. At night there is a system of LED lights which work by remote control allowing you to change the colour of the light in the different areas in the room.

The bedrooms are upstairs.

FIRST FLOOR
Going upstairs, we come to a small sitting room with armchairs, table and antique desk which leads to the bedrooms. There are six bedrooms and two shared full bathrooms with showers. Four double bedrooms, two of them with antique chests of drawers and two single rooms, one of them with a larger bed.

All the bedrooms have TV, double-glazed windows, wardrobe, bedside tables, and lamps. Heating with individual radiators in all the rooms and a central air-conditioning unit in the small sitting room with a powerful pump that cools the rest of the rooms.

SECOND FLOOR
Going up another flight of stairs, we come to the second floor, where there is a large spacious open-plan room with a round table and chairs. There are three double bedrooms on this floor, one with its own private bathroom. There are also two more bathrooms on this floor. All the bathrooms have been renovated and are full bathrooms with showers. All the bedrooms have a TV, double-glazed windows, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps and USB wall outlets. Heat/cold pump in the open area which is used to heat or cool the whole floor.

OUTSIDE
Extensive grounds with different areas:

– Barbecue area, with a wood-charcoal barbecue with horizontal grill, a wood-charcoal barbecue with vertical grill and a stone oven. Table with chairs. Guests can request firewood and charcoal at the time of booking, paying a small supplement.

– Pool area, down some stone stairs. As well as the pool, there are changing rooms and several spots where guests can relax with sun loungers and parasols. Green area with artificial grass around the pool. Sun terrace a little higher up.

– Sports area with facilities (bathroom, shower and changing rooms) and paddle tennis courts* with benches and tables, a small football field with grass and goal posts.

– Children’s playground with swings.

– Vegetable garden and animal pens with chickens and goats.

All the outdoor areas are open and guests have free use of them, except the vegetable garden and animal pens which are private. All the zones are well lit, with lights and socket points. The garden lights are lit at night, and if you want to use the sports facilities at night, you need to pay a supplement for electricity.

The property has different trails for observing and discovering the secrets and charms of the Montnegre Natural Park. One of them is the Pere-Joan Spring (Font de Pere-Joan) which is 1 km away and is a lovely walk in the mountains.

Large bright kitchen with all the necessary appliances and utensils: dishwasher, Nespresso capsule coffee machine, 2 fridges, 2 vitroceramic hobs, 2 ovens, microwave, sandwich toaster, juicer, washing machine, tableware, glassware, serving hatch and kitchen island.

Lounge-dining room with fireplace, long wooden table and chairs, sofas, chaise-longue sofa, floor lamp, cabinet with glassware (wine glasses, cups…), 2 TVs (one with a large-format screen), large windows and door leading out to the patio.

Bedroom 6. First floor. Large single bed with bedside table, reading lamp, wardrobe, TV.

Bedroom 7. Second floor. En-suite with double bed, bedside tables, reading lamps, TV, private bathroom with toilet, shower and sink.

Bedroom 8. Second floor. Double bed, bedside tables, reading lamps and TV.

Bedroom 9. Second floor. Double bed, bedside tables, reading lamps and TV.

Cots can be set up in the bedrooms.
