CA L’AIGUADER – Rural house in a natural setting in the Gironès region

The owners of the property live in a house close to the holiday home but which is totally separate. You arrive at the house along a quiet road. Just in front of the house there is an area where guests can park their cars. Before going in, there are also two small spaces outside with doors which can be locked, to leave bicycles and where the laundry room is.

The holiday home has two floors and you go in from the semi-private area in front of the house.

GROUND FLOOR

You go in through the front door into a hall/reception room which leads off to the other rooms in the house and which is also used as a dining room with a long table and chairs for 10 people. To the left is the kitchen, recently renovated and well designed, with a small cozy fireplace and all the necessary appliances. There is also a small table with chairs and the kitchen has a window which looks out to the patio. Going through sliding doors, you come into a small sitting room with a door leading directly to the patio and porch outside. On this floor there is a second lounge with sofas and a big TV and a bathroom with shower.

FIRST FLOOR

You go up to the first floor via the staircase which retains its original structure. This floor is on two levels which are separated by a couple of steps. On Level 1 there is a small corridor leading to a double bedroom with double bed and a full bathroom with shower. On the second level is a large sitting room leading to the other rooms, with a sofa-bed and doors leading to the big terrace along the whole of the front façade of the house. There are also three bedrooms here: one double room with a double bed, one bedroom with bunk beds and one bedroom with two single beds placed together. All the bedrooms have views of the patio or the area outside the house, and have air-conditioning.

OUTSIDE

The exterior part of the house has several spaces and areas. A big terrace on the first floor with views and outdoor furniture to enjoy the peaceful countryside. On the ground floor is the patio and garden which stretches along the side of the house, with artificial grass and a lovely covered porch, used as the dining area in the summer months, a favourite place for all the family. The porch is 25 m² with table and chairs, barbecue* and a sink with a tap. It has electric sockets and fans. During the summer months, a large above-ground pool is set up in the garden.
Under the porch is a dining area with furniture and tableware. Small front porch with furniture. Set in the wall near the front of the house is an old wood-burning stone oven which can be used if you ask in advance and if it’s available.

*Free wood for the barbecue.

New kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster, fridge, freezer, juicer, hob, tableware, fireplace, wooden table and chairs.

Dining room with long table and chairs, cabinet with tableware and cutlery.

2 Lounges with sofas, armchairs and TV.

4 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: double bed, big wardrobe and views.
Bedroom 2: bunk beds and views.
Bedroom 3: double bed, wardrobe and views.
Bedroom 4: 2 single beds and views.
All the bedrooms have bed linen.

2 Bathrooms: shower, toilet, sink, toilet paper, towels.

Comfort: washing machine, wifi, air-conditioning in the bedrooms*, mosquito nets on the windows, heating with radiators, outdoor parking for cars and a place for keeping bicycles.
*The air-conditioning has a limit of 4 hours, but if more time is needed, it can be started again.

Outside: Open patio with artificial grass, porch with table and chairs, furniture and outdoor tableware, barbecue with free wood, above-ground pool set up during the summer months, small front porch with furniture. Terrace upstairs with table and chairs.

Sant Jordi Desvalls is a small village in the countryside near the River Ter. Located in the Gironès region very close to Girona city and the Baix Empordà. The nearby countryside is a mixture of fields, orchards, vegetable plots and woods, and the house is not far from many beautiful villages in the Empordà region. A few kilometres away are some of the most outstanding beaches of the Costa Brava. Just 20-25 minutes by car from L’Estartit or L’Escala.

A natural and very relaxing setting, in a great location offering a wide range of activities: culture, history, restaurants, walking, cycling, water sports etc. Very well communicated since the train station is very close, and you can get to the centre of Girona or to the beach without having to take your car.
