AGROS DE CUNYA – Traditional country house with character

The house is situated a short distance from the village of Serra de Daró, along a quiet country road. You go into the property through a metal gate and there is a paved road up to the large garage with parking space for 4 cars. Surrounding the house is a large 1500  m² garden with grass, completely fenced off and safe, with a pool and areas for doing different activities.

At the entrance to the house is a large uncovered patio with outdoor furniture just next to a covered porch with barbecue, table and chairs, furniture and direct access to the kitchen. This area is ideal for eating outdoors while enjoying sunny winter days or cool summer evenings.

The house is arranged over three floors.

GROUND FLOOR

Access through the garden area and via the covered porch. Kitchen equipped with all the appliances and utensils needed to enjoy your stay. This room also leads to the lounge-dining room with ornamental fireplace, sofas and TV. Downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower. Central sitting room with classic furniture and armchairs, leading to the rest of the rooms and the other floors, with access to the laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and extra fridge-freezer, which has a door leading out to the garden-pool area.

FIRST FLOOR

Going up some stairs, you come to the second central sitting room situated on the first floor of the house with classic furniture, armchairs, sofa and views of the garden. The sleeping area is in this part of the house: one ensuite bedroom with its own private bathroom with bath, double bed and air-conditioning, a bedroom for four with four single beds and a cot, and another bedroom with a double bed. Full bathroom with bath and sitting room-office with sofas, TV, air-conditioning, desk. Terrace with views of the garden and pool.

SECOND FLOOR

On the second floor, a type of attic, there is a third central sitting room with wooden beams in the ceiling, retaining the rustic-style of the other rooms. A full bathroom with shower and two bedrooms each with two single beds. Views of the garden and the area outside the property.

Wifi throughout the house. Heating and air-conditioning in some rooms.

OUTSIDE

Magnificent outdoor area, with places for doing different activities, totally enclosed. Garden with grass surrounding the house, adjacent space with pool (8×4 m) for use during the summer months with shower and sun loungers. Outdoor patio with furniture and covered porch situated at the entrance to the house with portable barbecue, access to the garden, table and chairs and furniture. Large enclosed garage with space for 4 cars.

Around the property there are several paths to explore the surrounding countryside. You can go walking or cycling, and also head to the village for a pleasant excursion.

Bright spacious kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils: oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, stove, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, as well as all the kitchen utensils needed for cooking. Wooden table and chairs.

All the bedrooms have bed linen, wardrobes and bedside tables.

4 full bathrooms, two of them with baths and the other two with walk-in showers. Toilet and towels.

Comfort: cot, washing machine and tumble dryer, air-conditioning, fan and wifi throughout the house.

Serra de Daró is a small village in the Baix Empordà area with no more than 210 inhabitants. It is situated 11 km from La Bisbal d’Empordà, 31 kms from Girona, 40 kms from Figueres, 60 kms from France and 130 kms from Barcelona. The beaches of the northern Costa Brava are just 15 minutes’ drive from the house. The area is surrounded by Iberian and Roman ruins, such as the Iberian town near Ullastret and the ruins at Empúries. Surrounded by two rivers and a network of paths on the flat plain, Serra de Daró invites visitors to discover its medieval heritage and its tranquil landscape among important medieval sites, fields, woods and quiet back roads and country paths.
